Surface technology for woodworking and metalworking
Sanding, distressing and deburring processes all generate dust. Alongside an effective extraction system, there are several other technologies that can help to keep surfaces dust-free and ready for further processing. Lightly contaminated products can be brushed clean with nylon or natural fibre brushes, or blown or sprayed clean using (compressed) air.
For surfaces that have become heavily contaminated through years of use or contamination, such as scrap wood or wood from boat hulls or railway wagons, you can use steel or nylon brushes to restore the original rustic exterior. We can supply flexible nylon abrasive brushes with a grit size of 60, 80 or 120, or fine steel brushes.
